A logo redesign project for an independent scriptwriter who assists writers in shaping, developing, and writing their stories to industry standards. She also translates books and offers consultancy on any matter relating to text structure, the use of appropriate language, and how to present one's work professionally.
The brief was to take the original logo, which was just the client's signature, and give her a shiny new one that would show her business as professional and of a high standard while at the same time conveying a sense of warmth and care.
I started trying to incorporate a symbol into the logo to represent writing. This was in the form of a fountain pen nib. After sending a few options off to Inga and having a conversation about the logo we decided the logo needed to go in a different direction.
We decided to simplify the logo and just have the name in a warm and welcoming serif font and have a simple monogram icon to go alongside it. This simple yet effective approach would not only reflect Inga's personality but also give her a distinctive brand identity.
The final logo design features a beautiful, modern serif font with a subtle flair, conveying a sense of sophistication and professionalism, while the custom-designed monogram icon adds a touch of warmth and personality, perfectly capturing the essence of Inga's business. The logo is versatile and scalable, making it perfect for use across various platforms, from business cards to digital media.
